Planning and listed building consent secured in Cambridge City
13 July 2016 | Posted by Joanna Burton

Beacon's heritage team have assisted in securing listed building consent for alterations to a Grade II listed townhouse in the New Town part of the city.

The scheme sought consent for a refurbished basement with extended hard landscaping to the front of the building to improve the external amenity space. The proposals will create a great outdoor living space with direct access into the house at basement level.

Beacon advised on the emerging plans and provided a heritage statement assessing the heritage significance of the site and its contribution to the character and appearance of the conservation area. We are pleased to learn that planning and listed building consent was granted earlier this week.
