Conversion of a former prep school back to a single
dwelling including demolition of a rear wing and a
replacement new build has been secured permission with
the help of Beacon Planning Ltd
The building is a Grade II listed building and located within
a conservation area. The case was made that the
significant heritage benefits resulting from the conversion
and refurbishment of the building outweighed any harm
which could result. Lengthy discussions with the Local
Planning Authority enabled the scheme to be supported.
The architects for the project were Snell- David Ltd.
