Beacon do the AECOM 100
10 May 2016 | Posted by Emma Sharp

With some keen cyclists in the Beacon team, we couldn't resist getting some miles under our belts whilst raising money for two worthy charities.

Donning our lycra and helmets 3 members (and 2 old members!) of the Beacon Planning team took part in the AECOM 100 charity cycling event on the 8th May to raise money for the East Anglia's Children's Hospice and international disaster relief charity RedR.

The Team headed out from Cambridge through Whittlesford up to Chrishall and back into town via Barrington Hill. It was a great day in the saddle, enjoying the sun and zooming past some interesting historic buildings all rounded off by a delicious hog roast at the finishing line. Only the 50km route this time but perhaps the 100 next year?
