Beacon Planning win commendation at the East of England RTPI Regional Awards for our work at School of Pythagoras at St John's College.

Beacon Planning were delighted to win a commendation at the East of England RTPI Regional Awards for our work with Caroe Architecture on the Grade I listed School of Pythagoras at St John's College for the sensitive conversion of the 12th century building into a new archive . Dr Jon Burgess, who received the award alongside Chris Davis of Caroe Architecture, said it was good to see a high quality heritage scheme gaining recognition from the RTPI.

The awards were presented at the annual Gala Dinner on 25 September, which we pleased to sponsor. The evening was held at Girton College which also showcased our ongoing work with the College and the RIBA Regional Award winning Ash Court project now complete.

Beacon were also involved in two other shortlisted projects at the awards for our work on the Cambridge American War Cemetery and the University of Cambridge New Museums Site.
