Residential conversion of listed barn complex secured
9 March 2015 | Posted by Jenni Mason

Planning permission and listed building consent for the residential conversion of the barns at Anstey Hall, Trumpington has been received following the completion of the S106 agreement. Permission had already been agreed in principle back in August 2014 at Cambridge City Council's Planning Committee, but the decision notices have only now been issued following the successful resolution of the S106 agreement.

The consented scheme, designed by Cowper Griffith architects for Hill, will see the important main Grade II listed barn converted to a stunning large family home with the adjacent Grade II listed dovecote and curtilage listed cartsheds converted to create two high quality homes. An additional five dwellings will be formed from the other curtilage listed agricultural structures on the site, with a further four houses provided in a new contemporary courtyard.
